It’s time for a new Flirt XL edition! Get ready to be seduced by the challenging, yet swinging solos, duets and group formations by William Forsythe in Forsythe. The Flirt XL takes place during the dress rehearsal at Dutch National Opera & Ballet on Friday, February 9th, 2023.

Extras in our theatre

There will be plenty to do in the foyer as soon as the doors open. You can have your picture taken in style at the photo booth, and order a musical cocktail. After the performance, our doors will remain open longer, so you can chat or dance on the dance floor!

Forsythe: ode to an international master choreographer

If there is one choreographer who has influenced and steered the development of contemporary dance, it has to be William Forsythe. He completely overturned the traditional logic and dynamic of ballet. Dutch National Ballet is extremely proud to present its first complete programme of three of his masterpieces: The Vertiginous Thrill of Exactitude, Pas/Parts 2018 and the Dutch premiere of the internationally acclaimed Blake Works I.
