Hello and goodbye at Dutch National Ballet
We have already said goodbye to the familiar faces of Casey Herd, Peter Leung, Chao Shi, Wentao Li and Remy Catalan. And now Belle Beasley, Lisanne Kottenhagen and Antonio Martinez Cegarra have taken leave of the Junior Company.
One new face in the main company is that of the Brazilian principal dancer Daniel Camargo. Daniel trained in Brazil and continued his training at the John Cranko School in Stuttgart, Germany. On graduating in 2009, he joined Stuttgarter Ballett, where he was promoted to soloist in 2012.
Other newcomers to the main company are dancers we already know from the Junior Company: Emilie G. Tassinari, Clara Superfine, Thomas Van Damme, Daniel Robert Silva, Joseph Massarelli and Giovanni Princic (from November). They will all join the company in the rank of élève.
