Alexander Köpeczi
Bass
Hungarian-Romanian bass Alexander Köpeczi studied at the conservatoire of Cluj in Romania. He won prizes in the 2020 Viñas singing competition in Barcelona and in 2021 he was selected for the prestigious Young Artists Project at the Salzburger Festspiele. In 2022, he joined the ensemble of singers at the Bayerische Staatsoper in Munich. His repertoire features roles as Colline in La bohème, Alvise in La Gioconda, Sparafucile in Rigoletto, Ramfis in Aida and Sarastro in Die Zauberflöte.
Alexander Köpeczi sings the role of Sparafucile in Rigoletto, running from 2 to 29 September 2024 at Dutch National Opera.
