Senior Ballet Teacher
Rinat Gizatulin trained at the Choreographic Institute in Moscow (Russia), the school associated with the Bolshoi Ballet, where he was coached by the ballet master Alexander Prokofiev. In 1979 he joined the Gorky Ballet, as the youngest soloist, where he danced in Don Quixote, Swan Lake, Romeo and Juliet and Giselle. In 1981, he joined Moscow Classical Ballet (Ballet Star Factory) as a principal.
He started working as a ballet master in 1986, when he trained with Naum Azarin-Messerer, followed by two years with GITIS in Moscow. His international career took off in 1991 with Dortmund Ballett, where he was a soloist and a ballet master at the same time.
In 1993, Rinat obtained his teaching certificate in the Netherlands, after which he worked with the Amsterdam School of the Arts and as a ballet teacher with Dutch National Ballet. In 2010, he became senior ballet teacher with the company.
