60 years of Dutch National Ballet in digital timeline

Dutch National Ballet will close this festive anniversary season with the launch of a digital time line. The timeline will bring each decade of the company’s history to life online, with archive footage and in-depth texts. 

As you scroll through, you can see how Dutch National Ballet grew from a pioneering company to one of the world’s leading ballet companies in just over sixty years. The timeline provides a detailed overview of the highlights of the past six decades, such as special tours and the arrival of prominent soloists. But also highlights from the ever-growing repertoire – the company’s extensive and varied artistic heritage. “Something we as the Netherlands can be enormously proud of,” said artistic director Ted Brandsen at the start of this season.
