Patrick Hahn
The Austrian conductor, composer and pianist Patrick Hahn (1995) is regarded as one of the most talented artists of his generation. Since the start of the 2021/2022 season, he has been music director of the opera house and symphony orchestra in Wuppertal, where he recently conducted Béla Bartók's opera Duke Bluebeard's Castle and Richard Wagner's Tannhäuser. As a conductor he has conducted the Münchner Philharmoniker, Symphonieorchester des Bayerischen Rundfunks, Dresdner Philharmonie and Camarata RCO, among others. He is also principal guest conductor and artistic advisor of the Borusan Istanbul Philharmonic Orchestra (BIPO) and principal guest conductor of the Münchner Rundfunkorchester. He made his debut with Dutch National Opera and the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra in Der Freischütz, in which he also performed the role of Samiel.
