Raehann Bryce-Davis
The American mezzo-soprano Raehann Bryce-Davis has an impressive voice. With an adventurous repertoire that ranges from Donizetti to Philip Glass, her previous roles include Kristina in De zaak Makropulos, Mrs Alexander in Satyagraha, Sara in Roberto Devereux, Eboli in Don Carlo, Azucena in Il trovatore, Amneris in Aida, Der Komponist in Ariadne auf Naxos and Baba the Turk in The Rake’s Progress. She has performed on the stage of houses including Opera Vlaanderen, Teatro Massimo di Palermo, Staatstheater Nürnberg, LA Opera and the Metropolitan Opera in New York. At Dutch National Opera, she previously sang the role of Ježibaba in Rusalka.
Raehann Bryce-Davis sings in May 2024 the roles of La Frugola (Il tabarro) and La zia Principessa (Suor Angelica) in Il trittico.
