Yuexuan Gui

Yuexuan Gui (China) is a freelance dancer-choreographer. She started her professional training in Chinese classical dance from 2008-2013, and graduated with a BA degree in contemporary dance from the Beijing Dance Academy. As a dancer, she has trained and performed internationally, expressing herself across multiple genres, including ballet, contemporary dance, floor work, urban dance and Chinese folk/classical dance. Yuexuan's creative journey extends beyond performance into choreography, and her works have been showcased at various venues and festivals in both Germany and China. In 2020, she embarked on a journey of interdisciplinary exploration in her Master’s study in Choreography at Palucca University of Dance Dresden, where she continues to push the boundaries of her creative approaches and delve deeper into the intersection of dance, theater, and interdisciplinary performance.
