Aaron Faneyte

Aaron Faneyte (They/He/She), born and raised in Curaçao, values one thing the most in the world: self-expression. Not only when it comes to dance, but also in everyday life. The 23-year-old artist sees dance as a form of artistic expression in which personal and professional growth are beautifully intertwined. “Being open to any lesson it could teach me, dance continuously reshapes me into a person that I am proud to be”, says Faneyte. Recognisable by their strong, sensual, and fluid physicality, they are proud to always integrate influences from their Caribbean roots into their work.

Faneyte graduated from Codarts Rotterdam in 2022. Intrigued by interdisciplinary approaches, they are particularly drawn to innovative approaches to creating and presenting theatre productions. Faneyte sees themselves as more than just a dancer and aims to work with creators and in productions that stimulate and cultivate being an all-round performer.
