Agostino Cavalca
Costume designer
The Italian designer Agostino Cavalca has worked as a costume designer for opera and theatre since 1982. He has collaborated regularly with the directing duo Moshe Leiser and Patrice Caurier since 1995 and with Damiano Michieletto since 2017. His designs have been seen on such stages as the Teatro alla Scala in Milan, the Vienna State Opera, Salzburger Festspiele, the Paris Opera and the Royal Opera House in London. At Dutch National Opera, he has previously designed the costumes for Rigoletto (2017).
Agostino Cavalca’s costume designs for Rigoletto will be featured again at Dutch National Opera in September 2024.
