On Friday 5 June 2020, the Young Patrons Circle of Dutch National Opera & Ballet will host the fourth edition of the annual International Young Patrons Gala. We welcome all opera and ballet lovers until the age of 45 to come and celebrate the arts.

Dress in your most beautiful gala outfit and walk the red carpet during the cultural event of the year. Last year the Gala sold out well in advance, so don’t wait too long!

The Young Patrons Circle is a group of young professionals who support the future of opera and ballet. They support various projects of Dutch National Opera & Ballet and are invited backstage multiple times during the season.

Members of the Young Patrons Circle receive a free ticket for the International Young Patrons Gala and access to the exclusive afterparty. They are also allowed to purchase tickets during the YPC pre-sale of the gala, which starts on Wednesday 4 December 12:00.

An evening celebrating opera and ballet

The International Young Patrons Gala is the only evening of the year where opera and ballet share the same stage. The evening starts with an impressive red carpet, followed by a program with unique and varied opera and ballet performances, by the very best dancers and singers of Dutch National Opera & Ballet. Afterwards, the party continues in the foyer of our theatre with DJs and delicious drinks & bites. All this is included in your ticket. Finally, there will be an exclusive afterparty at an external location (guest list only; all Patrons + 1 are invited).

Program

Preparations for 2020 are now in full swing. The program will be announced here and on our social media pages in anticipation of June 5th. Like every year, the gala is a special evening dedicated to young talent that highlights and brings together our two art forms.

The International Young Patrons Gala Weekend

For our guests travelling from abroad and internationals living in Amsterdam we curate a special program from Friday, June 5th until Sunday, June 7th. Enjoy the gala and visit other Amsterdam highlights in one weekend!
