Connie Vowles
Connie Vowles (Bristol, United Kingdom) started dancing at a young age. When she was 10 years old, she was selected to train at The Royal Ballet School in London. After graduating, Connie joined English National Ballet. Here, she already danced soloist roles such as ‘4th Song Lady’ in Kenneth Macmillan’s Song of the Earth, ‘The Novice’ in Jerome Robbins’ The Cage, Odalisque in Le Corsaire, and The White Cat, Silver Fairy and Crystal Fountain Fairy in The Sleeping Beauty.
In 2019, Connie joined Dutch National Ballet’s corps de ballet. In 2021 she got promoted to coryphée and in 2022 to grand sujet. In the past years she particularly loved performing the works of David Dawson and William Forsythe.
