Léa Sauvignon
Léa Sauvignon was born in Dijon (France) and grew up participating in modern, jazz, and classical ballet. At the age of 11, she moved to Toulon (France) to train full-time at Ballet Studio Marius, in the pre-professional division. While training there, she participated in multiple competitions in France and in other countries, including a TV competition and, in 2022, the Youth America Grand Prix. After winning third place in the category ‘classical’ of this last competition, she was offered short-term scholarships at the American Ballet Theatre Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis School and the Dutch National Ballet Academy.
During her training Léa danced important roles in school productions, such as the Sugar Plum Fairy in The Nutcracker and Queen of the Dryads in Don Quixote. She also did multiple internships. During the final year of her training, she participated in the International Talent Award Competition, where she was offered a contract for the Junior Company of Dutch National Ballet.
