Skya Powney
Skya Powney (2003) was born in London, but raised in the Netherlands. She did not start dancing until she was ten, but returned to London at the age of eleven to train at The Royal Ballet School. During the seven years of training, she competed in the choreography competition for three years running, won third prize in the Lynn Seymour Award for Artistry and danced several times in productions by Birmingham Royal Ballet and The Royal Ballet.
