Through its partnership with enoa, Dutch National Opera contributes to international co-productions and also organizes workshops and talent development programs for young creators and performers.

After ten years of international cooperation in training and creation, the enoa network, of which Dutch National Opera is a member, believes that the future of opera in Europe depends on the sector being open to a greater diversity of artists as well as being open to exploring innovative operas telling inclusive stories that reflect the world today.
With the backing of the European Union’s Creative Europe programme, enoa launches its new programme Empowering Opera: breaking boundaries for institutions and artists and aims to inspire, support and showcase innovative opera projects, to boost diversity and numbers of artistic expressions throughout the European opera sector and completely transform its practices and working methods.
