Flory Curescu

Flory Curescu, graduated as a performing dancer from Codarts, the Rotterdam Dance Academy, and has danced pieces by leading choreographers such as Jiři Kylián, Nacho Duato, Samir Calixto, and Martha Graham during her training. In addition to modern dance, she has gained experience in acting and various dance styles, such as hip hop and jazz.

She has danced with dance companies such as De Stilte, Samadhi Dance Company, Lonneke van Leth Dans, and collaborated with various choreographers in both the Netherlands and Belgium. She has danced in various opera productions by Opéra Royal de Wallonië-Liège, the Nederlandse Reisopera, and Dutch National Opera in Amsterdam.

At the International Theatre Amsterdam, she participated in the production Age of Rage by Ivo van Hove and Wim Vandekeybus, performing in Amsterdam, Antwerp, and Paris.

In addition to her work in theatre, she appeared in the films The Conductor and Sisyphus at Work.

She was also seen in the short dance film Expose, which has won several awards. Her versatile talent has also brought her to the stage of various events, ranging from Defqon1 to the classical Top 400 concert of NPO4.
