Jane Lord

American Jane Lord studied at Canada’s National Ballet School before joining Dutch National Ballet in 1979. In 1984, she was promoted to soloist, and in 1990, to principal dancer. Lord won several awards, including the Golden Theatre Dance Prize from the Dutch Association of Theatres and Concert Halls (VSCD), the Duval-Leroy Oeuvre Prize and the Prize of Merit from the Stichting Dansersfonds ’79. Lord has been working at the Dutch National Ballet Academy since 2011. She has been performing character roles at Dutch National Ballet since 2017.
