Karin Jud

Swiss costume designer Karin Jud studied fashion design at the Basel School of Design. As a freelance costume designer, she has worked for the Schaubühne Berlin, Theater Augsburg, Bayerisches Staatstheater, Schauspielhaus Hannover, Schauspielhaus Graz, Staatstheater Mainz, Deutsches Schauspielhaus Hamburg, the Bayreuther Festspiele, Oper Frankfurt, Opernhaus Zürich, Semperoper Dresden and The Royal Opera in London. She regularly collaborates with directors Jan Philipp Gloger, Ingo Berk, Jan Stephan Schmieding and Barbara-David Brüesch. At Dutch National Opera, she previously designed for Jan Philipp Gloger's productions of Der Rosenkavalier (2015) and the double bill Eine florentinische Tragödie and Gianni Schicchi (2017)
