Laurent D'Elia
Laurent D'Elia is a Belgian actor, passionate about artistic fencing, saxophone and triathlon. He studied Drama at the Royal Conservatory of Mons in Belgium and followed several workshops in France with Ariane Mnouchkine and Simon Abkarian. He has performed in several theatre productions at home and abroad, as well as at La Monnaie de Bruxelles and the Théâtre des Champs-Elysées in Paris as an actor and dancer under the direction of David McVicar and Olivier Py. He also sang the role of Captain Von Trapp in the well-known musical The Sound of Music.
He also performs in both English and French-language television series and films. He has appeared in The Goya Murders, directed by Gerardo Herrero, The Happy Prince by Rupert Everett, The Bouncer by Julien Leclercq and in the television film Elle m'a sauvée directed by Ionut Teianu, which recently received the Audience Award at the Luchon TV Festival in France. He recently starred in the film Maître d'Armes directed by Vincent Perez. Autumn 2022, he performed the role of Lilas Pastia in Carmen at Dutch National Opera.
