Marcin Łakomicki
Stage director
The Polish director Marcin Łakomicki has been working in opera and theatre for some thirty years now. He studied Film and Audiovisual Arts at the University of Łódź and set design in Bologna. In 2008, he directed Menotti’s The Old Maid and the Thief in Wexford. He has worked as an assistant to directors including Mariusz Treliński, Robert Wilson, Damiano Michieletto, Romeo Castellucci and Andrea Breth. He was responsible for the stage direction rehearsals for the current series of performances of Michieletto’s Rigoletto.
Rigoletto runs from 2 to 29 September 2024 at Dutch National Opera.
