Michael Levine
Set and costume designer
Canadian set designer Michael Levine studied at The Central School of Art and Design in London. In the past, he has worked with directors like Simon McBurney, Robert Carsen and Deborah Warner and operahouses such as The Royal Opera House, Wiener Staatsoper, Opéra national de Paris and Opernhaus Zürich. For the Canadian Opera Company he designed and directed a full Ring cycle in 2006. For Dutch National Opera he designed sets for productions of Carmen, A Dog’s Heart, Die Zauberflöte, Hänsel und Gretel, The Rake’s Progress and Turandot.
