Houthoff continues support as main sponsor of Dutch National Opera & Ballet
Houthoff will extend the main sponsorship of Dutch National Opera & Ballet as of 1 January 2021. The law firm and the cultural institute are committed to each other for a new period of at least 1.5 years. "Not only are we happy with our collaboration with these top international companies, we also see it as our responsibility to continue our support, especially now the continuity of the performing arts is at stake, " says Edward de Bock, Managing Partner at Houthoff.
Houthoff and Dutch National Opera & Ballet have been linked since 2018. Both parties look back on a successful collaboration, during which the interface between the cultural and legal worlds created special initiatives and events. The ambition for the extended sponsorship is to further deepen the cooperation and to reciprocally strengthen both parties even more in expertise
Sophie de Lint, director of Dutch National Opera, and Ted Brandsen, director of Dutch National Ballet: " We are very pleased that Houthoff has decided to join us to continue our connection for the forthcoming time. Houthoff continuously emphasizes the importance of art and culture in The Netherlands and beyond. Particularly in light of the corona crisis, it is deeply appreciated that they've made this decision, so we can make good use of all of their support. We have already commenced many great initiatives together, and we intend to continue such innovation for the next 1.5 years.”
Houthoff is the first main sponsor of the Dutch National Opera & Ballet since the theatre’s merger in 2013. The sponsorship agreement has been digitally signed by Edward de Bock, Managing Partner and Elisabeth Houtman, Head of Marketing at Houthoff, Ted Brandsen, director of Dutch National Ballet and Sophie de Lint, director of Dutch National Opera.
