Junior Company celebrates its anniversary: free performance in the Vondelpark Open Air Theatre
On Sunday 23 June, the Junior Company (JC) of the Dutch National Ballet will perform at the freely accessible Vondelpark Open Air Theatre (VOLT). What makes this afternoon extra festive is that both the JC and VOLT have something to celebrate. VOLT is celebrating its 50th anniversary and the JC its 10th.
In five short works, the young talents (aged 17-22) of the JC will show what they have to offer, from classical pas de deux to poppin’ and lockin’. During the programme of approximately one hour (excluding break), you can enjoy Valse Fantaisie, Ephemeral, Burden (in collaboration with ISH Dance Collective) Tu me manques and Echoes of Memories.
