Open-air exhibition “Dutch National Opera meets young visual artists”

Opera is an art form in which various artistic disciplines meet. With this in mind, Dutch National Opera asked five young, recently graduated artists to design the poster images for the 2021/22 opera season. Under the guidance of artist and designer Bart Hess and creative director Iebele van der Meulen, they created digital sculptures inspired by the opera titles of this season. These works of art can be admired by everyone from 3 September until 1 October in a special open-air exhibition in front of our theatre.
