Nikolaus Stenitzer

Nikolaus Stenitzer studied Theatre, Film and Media Studies and Philosophy at the universities of Vienna and Hamburg. After his studies, he worked at the Österreichisches Filmmuseum in Vienna and as an editor and journalist in Hamburg, Berlin and Munich. From 2013-2017, he was an editor at the Bayerische Staatsoper and from 2019 he was appointed dramaturg there. He is currently part of the dramaturgy team of the Wiener Staatsoper. He has collaborated with directors such as Barrie Kosky, Axel Ranisch, Katie Mitchell and Herbert Fritsch.
