Jet Sprenkels
Jet Sprenkels studied harp at the Sweelinck Conservatorium in Amsterdam under Edward Witsenburg and obtained her diploma as a Performing Musician. Since 1992, she has been a harpist with Het Balletorkest. Additionally, she serves as a regular substitute musician with the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra and performs with various Dutch and foreign orchestras, including the Orchestre National de Lyon and the Chamber Orchestra of Europe.
Sprenkels has played with several ensembles, such as the Netherlands Wind Ensemble and Asko|Schönberg. As a soloist, she has performed works including Handel’s Harp Concerto, Lutoslawski’s Double Concerto for oboe, harp, and chamber orchestra, and Debussy’s Danse sacrée et danse profane.
