Philipp M. Krenn
Stage director
Austrian director Philipp M. Krenn was trained as an actor and learned the directing craft as an assistant to world-renowned directors such as Robert Carsen, David Alden, Christine Mielitz, Sven Eric Bechtolf and Simon Stone. He worked as co-director with Philipp Stölzl, Alvis Hermanis and Damiano Michieletto on productions for the Salzburg Festival, the Semperoper Dresden, the Bayerische Staatsoper München, the Teatro La Fenice in Venice and the Bregenzer Festspiele. His own productions include Pinoccio (Volksoper Wien), Peter Grimes (Hessisches Staatstheater Wiesbaden) and Orfeo ed Euridice (Wiener Kammeroper).
