Rebecca Gladstone
Rebecca Gladstone (Sydney, Australia) studied at The Kim Walton School of Dance and the Marie Walton-Mahon Dance Academy in Australia and continued her dance education at the English National Ballet School. After graduating, she joined the ballet company of the Deutsche Oper Berlin, where she was later promoted to soloist. In 2003, she moved to the Wiener Staatsballett, and three years later, she was invited to dance with the Semperoper Ballett in Dresden. Throughout her dance career, Gladstone performed leading and soloist roles in both classical and contemporary ballets, collaborating with numerous choreographers including Jiří Kylián, William Forsythe, John Neumeier, Sir Peter Wright, Marguerite Donlon, Johan Inger, and David Dawson.
From 2010 to 2016, she served as a ballet master at the Semperoper Ballett, assisting in the staging of both new creations and existing ballets. Since 2016, she has been part of David Dawson’s team, staging his works with companies worldwide and assisting Dawson in new creations. Additionally, she works as a teacher with various ballet companies and summer school programs.
