Reina Trifunovic

Born and raised in The Netherlands, Reina began dancing at the age of 7. She started her professional training with the Dutch National Ballet Academy in Amsterdam. After 10 years, she continued her education and graduated from The Juilliard School. Some of her favourite experiences include performing works by Sharon Eyal, Gustavo Ramirez, Didy Veldman, Jose Limon, Ohad Naharin, Jiří Kylián, Marco Goecke, Hans van Manen and Sedrig Verwoert. In recent years she has worked closely with performer and choreographer, Sedrig Verwoert, as assistant choreographer and rehearsal director. She has had the pleasure to be part of several new works by him performed by and with Dutch National Ballet as well as his own collective whilst still being an active freelance dancer.
