Reinaldo Donoso

Reinaldo Donoso is a bass trombonist from Coquimbo, Chile. He began his trombone studies at the Music School of La Serena. At the age of 18, he continued his studies in Santiago at the Universidad de Chile, where he joined the National Youth Orchestra of Chile. In 2013, he completed his bachelor's degree at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam with Ben van Dijk. He also obtained a master's degree in bass and contrabass trombone with Brandt Attema. Until 2020 he was the lead singer of Latin Rock band Los Paja Brava. In 2019 he participated in Stockhausen's opera aus LICHT at the Holland Festival. Reinaldo has since worked as a freelance trombonist, and he has already had the opportunity to work with many orchestras in the Netherlands, including the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra, the Netherlands Philharmonic Orchestra and the Radio Philharmonic Orchestra.
