As a teacher, Butler has led dance and choreography workshops at l’École Nationale Supérieure de Danse de Marseille, the Macao Cultural Centre in China, Ailey Camp Chicago, the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, and at the SUNY Purchase Conservatory of Dance.
