Riccardo Minasi

Riccardo Minasi is chief-conductor of the Mozarteumorchester in Salzburg, Artist in Residence of the Ensemble Resonanz in Hamburg and artistic director of Orchestra La Scintilla at the Opernhaus Zürich. He was a guest conductor at orchestras such as Orchestra dell’Academia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia, the Symphonieorchester des Bayerischen Rundfunks, Staatskapelle Dresden and the Concertgebouworkest. He conducted operas such as Les pêcheurs de perles (Salzburger Festspiele), Carmen (Opéra National de Lyon), Rinaldo (Theater an der Wien), Don Giovanni (Palau de les Arts Reina Sofia), Die Entführung aus dem Serail, Orlando Paladino, Il matrimonio Segreto and Il turco in Italia (Opernhaus Zürich). At Dutch National Opera Minasi previously conducted Rodelinda and Le nozze di Figaro.

During season 2023-2024 Minasi will return for conducting Mozart's Die Zauberflöte.
