Saar Vandenberghe

Saar Vandenberghe is a dramaturge, theatre maker and actor. She studied Woordkunst at the Lemmens Institute in Leuven and studied acting at the Toneelacademie Maastricht. She has performed with Het Zuidelijk Toneel, De Nieuw Amsterdam, De Toneelschuur and Nieuwe Helden, among others. She teaches text theatre and voice technique. She also developed into a dramaturge and writing coach and was an advisor for Het Fonds Podiumkunsten for seven years. Her interest lies with the latest generation of theatre makers and her work is characterised by a great social engagement and a love of language. As a dramaturge, she made performances with Orkater, Het Zuidelijk Toneel and Studio 52nd, among others. The Shell Trial is her fourth collaboration with Het Geluid Maastricht.
