Soprano
Up-and-coming soprano Aigul Khismatullina studied at the conservatoire in Kazan. In 2016, she made her debut in the Mariinsky Theatre in Saint Petersburg. Engagements with the Deutsche Oper Berlin, the Gran Teatre del Liceu in Barcelona and Opera Santiago de Chile followed. Her repertoire includes the title role in Lakmé, Gilda in Rigoletto, the Königin der Nacht in Die Zauberflöte, the title role in Lucia di Lammermoor, Zerbinetta in Ariadne auf Naxos and the title role in Rimsky-Korsakov’s The Snow Maiden.
Aigul Khismatullina sings the role of Gilda in Rigoletto, running from 2 to 29 September 2024 at Dutch National Opera.
