Countertenor Artem Krutko is part of the soloists’ ensemble of Chelyabinsk State Opera. His recent and upcoming engagements include Oberon in A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Mariinsky Theater, Saint Petersburg), Orfeo in Orfeo ed Euridice, Prince Orlofsky in Die Fledermaus, and Milovzor in Pique Dame. Further roles that Krutko has sung include Fyodor in Boris Godunov (Savonlinna Opera Festival), the countertenor role in the world premiere of the ballet Hieronymus B (Heidelberg), the title role in Pergolesi’s Adriano in Siria (Opéra Royal de Versailles, Warsaw Philharmonic) and Lel in Rimsky-Korsakov’s Snow Maiden.
