Barno Ismatullaeva

The Uzbekistani soprano Barno Ismatullaeva studied at the State Conservatory in Tashkent. After her studies, she immediately received a permanent position at the opera house in Tashkent, which was quickly followed by an appointment at the Nemirovich-Danchenko Theater in Moscow. After participating in the Cardiff singer of the world competition in 2017, she was a guest at various opera houses. She sang in opera houses such as Staatsoper Hamburg, Staatsoper Hannover, Teatro Regio di Torino, Teatro Massimo di Palermo and made her debut at the Bregenzer Festspiele in 2022 in the role of Cio-Cio-San in Madama Butterfly. Here she worked with conductor Enrique Mazzola. As Elisabetta in Roberto Devereux she makes her house and role debut at Dutch National Opera.
