Bogdan Volkov

Bogdan Volkov is one of the most in-demand lyric tenors of his generation. He studied singing at the Kiev Conservatory, after which he was a member of the Young Artists Programme of the Russian Bolshoi Theatre for two years. He is a regular guest at leading opera houses, including The Metropolitan Opera in New York, Wiener Staatsoper, Bayerische Staatsoper and The Royal Opera House London. His repertoire includes such roles as Tsarevich Gvidon in The Tale of Tsar Saltan, Fenton in Falstaff, Lensky in Eugene Onegin, Don Ottavio in Don Giovanni and Ferrando in Così fan tutte. He made his DNO-debut in 2021 as Alfredo in La traviata. 

• In 2024, Bogdan Volkov will once again perform the part of Alfredo Germont! Between January 27 and February 8 2024 (27 and 31 Jan, 3 and 6 Feb) in La traviata at Dutch National Opera.
