Soprano

Daria Brusova (Salsk, Russia) obtained her degree from the Academic Music College of the Moscow State Conservatory and participated in the Young Artists Opera Programme of the Bolshoi Theatre. Brusova possesses a lyrical coloratura soprano, a type of soprano voice in classical music known for its ability to sing very high notes and execute intricate, rapid runs and embellishments. Her repertoire includes a variety of classical, chamber, and baroque works. Brusova has also portrayed roles such as the Queen of the Night in Die Zauberflöte, Gilda in Rigoletto, and Musetta in La bohème. In October 2023, she won the second prize in the LiedDuo category at the 56th International Vocal Competition ’s-Hertogenbosch (IVC). Daria Brusova is a member of Dutch National Opera Studio as of the 2024-25 season.
