Ella Taylor

British soprano Ella Taylor studied at the Royal Academy of Music in London and was a member of the British National Opera Studio. Taylor recently made their debut with English National Opera in the role of Maketaten in Akhnaten, and debuted at the Royal Opera House as Tebaldo in Don Carlo. At the Royal Opera House, Taylor returned in Elektra. On the concert stage Taylor has collaborated with the London Sinfonietta, Philharmonia Orchestra and Britten Sinfonia. Taylor also gives solo recitals, in which they emphasizes works by composers who are underrepresented in classical music. Taylor also contributes to creating new work with a focus on the LGBTIQ+ community and regularly speaks about a career as a trans opera singer.
