Gianluca Buratto
Italian bass Gianluca Buratto studied at the Conservatorio Giuseppe Verdi in. He has often collaborated with Italian conductors Ricardo Muti, Fabio Luisi and Ricardo Chailly, and has performed in opera houses all over the world, including the Teatro alla Scala, Teatro Regio Turin, Opéra national de Paris, Bayerische Staatsoper Munich and the Royal Opera House in London. He has also performed at the Bregenzer Festspiele and Salzburger Festspiele. For concert performances, he has maintained a special collaboration with conductor John Eliot Gardiner with orchestras such as the Monteverdi Choir and Orchestra, the Berlin Philharmonic and the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. At Dutch National Opera he previously performed the role of Colline in La Bohème (2014 and 2017).
