Hulkar Sabirova

Soprano

The German dramatic coloratura soprano Hulkar Sabirova studied at the Mannheim University of Music and Performing Arts. She began her career at the Deutsche Oper Berlin as part of the ensemble of soloists, where the roles she sang included the Queen of the Night in Die Zauberflöte, Hélène in Les vêpres Siciliennes and the title role in Lucia di Lammermoor. She also sang roles such as Donna Leonora in La forza del destino, Konstanze in Die Entführung aus dem Serail and Rosalinde in Die Fledermaus. She has worked at opera houses such as Staatsoper Hamburg, Semperoper Dresden, Teatro Real Madrid and the Berliner Philharmonie, as well as performing at the Arena di Verona, Savonlinna Opera Festival and the Odessa Black Sea Festival. In the concert repertoire, she has sung with the Rundfunk-Sinfonieorchester Berlin and the St Louis Symphony Orchestra.
