Isabel Houtmortels

Isabel Houtmortels (22) began her musical career in 2014 with the National Children's Choir, and from there she progressed to the Mixed Youth Choir, with which she sang concerts conducted by Sir John Eliot Gardiner, Sigvards Klava and Yannick Nézet-Séguin, among others. After graduating from secondary school, she lived in London for a while, where she sang with the London Youth Choir. Back in the Netherlands, she was accepted at the Rotterdam conservatoire in 2019, where she is now studying. Isabel makes her debut with Dutch National Opera as die Tochter des Besenbinders in Königskinder.
