Jeanine De Bique

Soprano

The Trinidadian soprano Jeanine De Bique studied at the Manhattan School of Music in New York. She won prizes at the International Vocal Competition in ’s-Hertogenbosch, while her album Mirrors received both an Opus Klassik Award and an Edison Classical Music Award. She has sung in opera houses such as San Francisco Opera, Grand Théâtre de Genève, the Paris Opera, Zurich Opera House and Theater an der Wien. She has also sung at the Festival d’Aix-en-Provence and the Salzburger Festspiele. She has worked with orchestras such as Concerto Köln, Los Angeles Philharmonic conducted by Gustavo Dudamel, the London Symphony Orchestra with Sir Simon Rattle, the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra, the Netherlands Chamber Orchestra and Holland Baroque. She has a wide repertoire ranging from baroque to contemporary music. At Dutch National Opera, she has previously sung La clemenza di Tito (2018) and Aida in Caruso a Cuba (2019).
