Kadi Jürgens

Mezzo-soprano Kadi Jürgens started her studies in violin and flute at the Tallinn School of Music. Afterwards, she continued her studies in classical singing at the Academy of Music and Theatre in Tallinn and at the Antwerp Conservatory. She completed her studies at the International Opera Academy in Ghent, where she sang Carmen in La tragédie de Carmen, Zerlina in Don Giovanni's Last Supper and Lotte Lenya in LoveMusik. In season 2021/2022, she sang the role of Concepción in Tom Goossens' L'Heure espagnole at Opera Ballet Vlaanderen and she made her role debut as Bizet’s Carmen at Theatre Vanemuine (Tartu) in Estonia. She previously sang one of the six Mädchen in Van Hove's staging of Mahagonny and is now making her house debut at Dutch National Opera in this role.

Kadi Jürgens sings the role of one of the six Mädchen in Aufstieg und Fall der Stadt Mahagonny, which will be performed at Dutch National Opera from 6 September to 27 September 2023.
