Raphaële Green
Mezzo-soprano Raphaële Green received her vocal training at the Institut Supérieur de Musique in Namur and qualified at the European Vocal Department. She was a member of De Munt's MM Academy. In the 2019-2020 season, she was part of Opera Ballet Vlaanderen's Youth Ensemble, where she sang, amongst others, in Weill's Jasager, Dvořák's Rusalka and Strauss' Ariadne auf Naxos. Last season, she performed with the company as a soloist in Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker's Mozart / Concert Arias. Green performed the role of Zefka in Janáček's Diary of a Lost Man in a Muziektheater Transparant production directed by Ivo van Hove. She also previously sang one of the six Mädchen in his staging of Mahagonny. Now she makes her house debut at Dutch National Opera in this role.
Raphaële Green sings the role of one of the six Mädchen in Aufstieg und Fall der Stadt Mahagonny, which will be performed at Dutch National Opera from 6 September to 27 September 2023.
