Steven van der Linden
Steven van der Linden (Utrecht, Netherlands) gained singing and stage experience at a young age with the Dutch National Choirs. In 2018, he started his music education at the Hochschule für Musik in Berlin, and from 2020, he studied at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama in London. Steven has performed in Arminio at the Royal Opera House, in Du fond de l’abîme in Barbican Hall, and has performed the role of Aeneas in Dido & Aeneas at the Spanish Teatro Pérez Galdós and on tour in the Netherlands.
Steven is supported by the Prins Bernhard Cultuurfonds, the VandenEnde Foundation, the Countess of Munster Musical Trust, and the Help Musicians Sybil Tutton Opera Award. This season he will join the Nederlandse Reisopera in the roles of Lucano, Soldato I and Famigliare II in Monteverdi’s L’Incoronazione di Poppea as part of the Opera Studio’s collaboration with the Reisopera and Opera Zuid.
