Zachary Wilder
The American tenor Zachary Wilder is renowned for his fascinating interpretations of the seventeenth- and eighteenth-century repertoire. He studied at the Eastman School of Music and the University of Houston. He has sung with such acclaimed ensembles as Pygmalion, L’Arpeggiata, the Netherlands Bach Society, English Baroque Soloists, Les Arts Florissants and the Freiburg Baroque Orchestra. His opera performances include singing with the Royal Opera of Versailles, Teatro Real in Madrid and La Fenice Opera House, as well as at the Salzburger Festspiele. He has worked with conductors including William Christie, John Eliot Gardiner and Raphaël Pichon. In addition to baroque music, he also tackles the major symphonic repertoire, working with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and San Francisco Symphony Orchestra among others.
