Unique experiences
Dutch National Opera & Ballet offers various unique experiences. From private performances, guided tours and even an opera or ballet performance at your location!
Guided tours
A guided tour takes you behind the scenes and to the front of house. Visit the impressive stage, the wings, the soloist dressing rooms, the ballet and opera studios, the props departments, the wigs and make-up department and the costume department. Upon request we can also highlight one of the crafts or departments by asking our experts to share their vision on their profession.
Performance on location
Celebrate a special occasion with an exclusive performance by our dancers and/or singers at a location of your choice. Performances can be given either indoors or outdoors.
Exclusive performance
You can reserve the whole theatre just for you and your guests. Everything is laid on, including a reception, interval, drinks or dinner party. A truly memorable evening!
Workshops & Training
Ever thought of a training or workshop in one of our ballet or opera studios? Together with a professional training agency, we create tailored workshops where we highlight topics that are common for both corporates and our institute. Think of non verbal communication, talent acquisition, recruitment, development or tone of voice. Inspire your guests or colleagues and attend one of the rehearsals or include a tour backstage in your programme.
Trainings and workshops can also be hosted at your preferred location or office.
Attending a rehearsal
Every day, the dancers and singers train with passion, discipline and dedication, so that they can give world-class performances. Attending a rehearsal is a unique experience that gives you a close-up view of what their work and daily training involves.
Attending a masterclass
A masterclass is a creative process where you witness a new opera or ballet production. You are part of an intimate process where our creatives and dancers rehearse new performances.
Attending a stage rehearsal
Stage rehearsals are one of its kind as it's the first time that dancers or singers perform a special production on stage, including decor, costumes and so on. This is the final stage close to the official premiere and you are one of the first to see (part) of the actual performance. You are in the auditorium together with an artistic team, production staff and director.
These unique experiences are exclusively available for our partners.
