Tal Yarden

Videographer

Tal Yarden creates and designs visual content for various types of media. He has specialised in work for live performances such as dance, theatre, opera, special events and musical performances. Yarden worked on numerous productions of Ivo van Hove at ITA, including Angels in America, Roman Tragedies, Kings of War, Antonioni Project, The Fountainhead and The Damned. He also worked with Van Hove on many other of his other international successes, including David Bowie's Lazarus in New York and London, The Crucible on Broadway and Antigone for the Barbican in London. Yarden also created several video installations for Microsoft, Coca-Cola and The New York Times, among others. As a visual jockey (VJ) and director of live videos, he has worked for Annie Lennox, Red Hot Chilli Peppers and Patti Smith, among others. At Dutch National Opera, he previously did video design for Der Schatzgräber (2012) and Salome (2017).

Tal Yarden created the video design for Aufstieg und Fall der Stadt Mahagonny, which will be performed at Dutch National Opera from 6 September to 27 September 2023.
