To make our performances accessible to everyone, we offer discounts for specific groups. Check here if you are eligible.

CJP
On presentation of your CJP pass, you will receive a discount of €4 to €10 on the regular admission price for all performances, depending on the price category.

CKV Culture Card
Most secondary school students in the Netherlands receive a CKV Culture Card. With this card, you can go to the opera for a low price, from the third grade for €15. And to ballet, from the second rank for €10.
This discount is only given at the box office or by phone, and the pass is strictly checked at the door.
Please note: you will not get a refund if you buy online with a CJP discount, but you appear to have a CKV Culture Card.

Youth up to and including 16 years of age
Young people who can prove that they are under 17 are eligible for the youth discount, which is equal to the CJP discount (even without a CJP card).

Students
Dutch National Opera & Ballet offers students the opportunity to attend some performances for €19. Sign up for the student alert to receive offers by email. Additionally, students can buy tickets via the online ticket shop beginning at 13:00 on the day of the performance. They can also do so at the Box Office up to one hour before the performance. This discount is only available with proof of registration. A student card is only valid if it contains clear and valid dates.

My Muse & Me
Are you between 16 and 35 years old and do you want to go to opera and ballet with a big discount? Would you like to know more about the different art forms? Together with other young people who experience an opera or ballet performance that really touches you? Then sign up now for My Muse & Me!

For only €20 per year you can: with a discount to the opera and ballet performances in the My Muse & Me selection (16-25 years 75% discount, 25-30 years 50% and 30-35 years 25%); buy tickets for these performances well in advance with a discount (from the start of the regular ticket sales); My Muse & Me organizes a special side program for the performances in the selection; with last-minute - from 13:00 one day in advance - Sprint discount to all unsold performances in the Dutch National Opera & Ballet; get to know art forms and creators; meet other young opera and ballet enthusiasts. Flirt XL
Get seduced by opera or ballet during the Flirt XL evenings at Dutch National Opera & Ballet. Flirt XL evenings are for people aged 16 to 35. City pass
Holders of the City Pass of the municipalities of Amsterdam, Diemen, Landsmeer and Oostzaan receive a discount. The City Pass is personal, when entering our theatre you will be asked to show your City Pass. If you are unable to show your City Pass, you will be asked to pay the difference in price at the box office.

iAmsterdam card
Holders of a valid iAmsterdam card receive a 25% last-minute discount on performances in Dutch National Opera & Ballet. This discount is only valid on the day of the performance. 

Group discount
A group reservations is possible from 15 people or more for all productions in Dutch National Opera & Ballet. For groups, there is a discount of 5% for groups of 15 to 30 persons and 10% for groups of 30 or more. These discounts are on the existing ticket prices. (not valid in combination with other discounts). You can request a group booking up to six weeks before the premiere of a particular production via groupbooking@operaballet.nl. In your e-mail, please specify the performance and day you want tickets for, how many tickets you want, and where you want to sit (which price category and part of the auditorium).
